our first project is to orientate ourselves around the buildings at camberwell collecting and presenting data to form a representation of our journey through the building. We decided to use light as the basis of our derive, mapping out a journey through light sources from the colleges usually unnoticeable array of light fittings and covers. The theory being that a journey set out by interation with such a platonic force will hopefully change the context of the journey through the grey brutalist building into something more interactive and uplifting and even influencing the journeys people take through the building as they become responsive to the effects of the light.
